Hi, my name is Indranil.
Feel free to call me Indy.
I was born in Auckland, New Zealand, but if my jacket doesn't give it away, I've spent most of my time in New York. I grew up on Long Island and graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business in 2017.
Since my early days at NYU I've been heavily involved in the NYC startup community. I led finance and strategy at InterviewJet (acquired in 2018), launched the Los Angeles market for AngelList's talent platform, and led Budgeting and Reporting for Slice (powering over $2B in pizza sales). Currently, I lead FP&A for Alma, where we are simplifying access to therapy while supporting the amazing providers that make it happen.
I've got a few business ideas of my own too. One got me to the NYU Berkley Center's $300k Entrepreneur's Challenge quarterfinals.
Outside of work, I run (3 NYC Marathons so far, #4 coming up in 2022), play tennis, rock climb, take pictures, cook, go to concerts, and eat. Mostly eat really.
My personal mission is to improve the world in any way that I can, through any methods I know how, and to leave the world healthier, happier, and kinder than the one we live in today.
